I just wanted to send a quick email to thank you for the wonderful job you did at my daughter Sarah’s wedding at the Baltimore Basilica Saturday. Thank you all very much for a wonderful performance at our wedding! Your professionalism, timing and etiquette were above reproach. I am just sorry that I wasn't able to enjoy every minute:) As the bride, I was a little busy getting ready and posing for an endless string of photographs. Many thanks to the String Poets for playing at our wedding. The music played a very important part in our wedding, as you know, and you performed the pieces just as I wanted them to be played! At one point I was swaying to the music(I think it was Vocalise) and my husband even noticed me doing it, just in the moment and enjoying everything about the day. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you in person! I was running a bit late from the hairdresser and I just had to get upstairs and get dressed and be ready in 30 min. I couldn't have been more pleased. These guys sounded just perfect! They played a non-traditional piece for me as I walked down the aisle - Dvorak's Humoresque No.7 as well as other pieces we selected for the reception. They are finely skilled musicians and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a string trio (they also have a string quartet) for their event.
